Lisa Richter BSc (Hons) Ost

Lisa specialises in cranial osteopathy and is a fellow of the Sutherland School of Cranial Osteopathy. She graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in 2000 after a four year full time degree course. Lisa is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy.

From a very young age Lisa knew she wanted to work in health care. It wasn’t until she had an osteopathic treatment herself for a severely stiff and painful neck that she knew it was going to be osteopathy. She enrolled in the course that day. She moved to Kent from Iceland to complete the 4 year full time degree course. She worked in a busy London clinic for four years where she acquired a broad range of treatment approaches. During this time she also ran her own practise in Brighton working in close cooperation with holistic dentists. She then relocated to Norwich and opened her current practise with her partner Laurent.

Lisa works primarily cranially but also uses structural and visceral techniques. She has always had an interest in treating pregnant women, babies and children. She and Laurent have 4 children together who all have enjoyed regular osteopathic treatments. A few years ago she introduced cupping and taping to complement her osteopathic practise.

Lisa is soon finishing her post graduate studies with the Sutherland College of Cranial Osteopathy and is training to be a tutor with them.

She used to run baby massage courses and prenatal classes with a local yoga teacher. Lisa used to be a keen ballet and contemporary dancer and taught a toddler dance group at The Garage for a couple of years. She now practised yoga and pilates and loves running.
